Reindexing a profile

If you are facing an issue with a profile's view or if any details of the profile (e.g. slug) are updated manually, you may need to reindex a particular profile.

 

This can be done easily by using the Nightly Processor. 

 

Creating a Nightly Process

 

1. Visit the Admin module and go to the Nightly Process present under Manage Config.

 

 

2. Once there, click on add button present on right-hand side

 

 

3. In Create a new Nightly Process, you need to add Application (1) i.e. profile; Module (2) i.e. ProfileIndex; Method (3) i.e. indexProfile and Params (4) i.e. profile id.

 

4. You can use the active checkbox and set * (asterisk) for all time-related fields like minute, hour, day of month, month and day of week to re-index the profile immediately. And click on tickbox for Active.

 

 

5. Click on Save.

 

Note: In Params enter the profile id of the profile that needs to be reindexed. The re-indexing and Person badge (badge cache) regeneration will be done immediately.
